Valves - Ball Valves
Brass ball valves are a type of valve commonly used to control the flow of fluids in plumbing and fire industries.
The design of a brass ball valve includes a hollow ball with a bore through the center. When the valve is open, the ball is rotated so that the bore aligns with the pipe, allowing fluid to flow freely. When the valve is closed, the ball is turned perpendicular to the pipe, blocking the flow of fluid.
Ball valves are known for their reliability, longevity, and ease of operation. They provide a tight seal when closed, minimising leakage.
